Camster Forest was planted on peatland in the 1980s. It consists mainly of Sitka Spruce and Lodgepole Pine.

Shadows on a cow byre

This is the front of an old stone cow byre, which is beside an old croft house in Hillside, Auckengill. The land that the house and byre stands on has now been decrofted.
