Former Hotel by the Wick River

Variously known as the Wick New Hotel and the Wick Station Hotel, the building dates from the 1870s when the railway line was opened from Helmsdale. It is now a nursing home.

Shortest Street in the World

Dated 1883, Ebenezer Place, Wick, is entered in the Guinness Book of Records as the world's shortest street, measuring 2.06 m (6 ft 9 in). The address, "1 Ebenezer Place" is part of Mackays Hotel.
