The Pole at Staxigoe


This pole, which has a barometer on it, was erected by fishermen to assess what sea conditions were likely to be before going to sea.

  4. It looks like a missile ready to take off for the skies. Love the way the blue stands out in the shot. What a clever idea to put a barometer on it. The sea and the clouds round it all off for a delightful capture.
